BEI Sensors is committed to the environment and to compliance with all applicable local, state, federal, and international laws which help to ensure a clean and healthy environment. As part of our efforts, we have established and maintain an ISO 14001 Certified Environmental Management System. We are aware of the European Union (EU) directives for Reduction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) and Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). Both of these initiatives have, as their objective, the elimination and/or reduction of hazardous materials in the waste stream. We support these objectives as well as the REACH initiatives as outlined herein.
